About Us

At University Granite, we are Auburn and Opelika's trusted local source for custom stone countertops — serving homeowners, builders, and commercial clients throughout East Alabama and beyond. Founded by Auburn alumni and rooted in this community, we bring genuine pride to every project we touch.

Our passion is transforming kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and commercial spaces with stunning natural and engineered stone — from timeless granite and classic marble to durable quartz and exotic quartzite. Whatever your vision, we have the materials, the technology, and the craftsmanship to bring it to life.

Precision at every step.

Every project begins with digital templating using the Laser Products LT-2D3D Laser Templator — capturing every measurement, cutout, and detail directly from your jobsite to 1/16" accuracy. No guesswork. No surprises. Just a perfect fit.

Your stone is then cut in our fabrication shop on a Park Industries SABER 5-Axis CNC Saw — the same equipment used by the most respected fabricators in the country — producing the clean lines, precise edges, and flawless seams that define a truly professional installation.

From estimate to installation, every project is managed through Slabware, our professional job management platform, so your quote, timeline, and communication are organized, accurate, and transparent from day one.

Local. Precise. Personal.

From a single bathroom vanity to a large-scale commercial build, University Granite delivers the craftsmanship, technology, and personal service your project deserves. We are local to the Auburn/Opelika community — not 110 miles away — and that means faster turnaround, real accountability, and a team that stands behind every install.

Graduate to Luxury — you deserve nothing less.
